Darrin,

How long is it since the system was re-charged?  Mine needs doing every 2/3
years.   Mine is still on the original gas and a  ?top up? costs about 50
GBP a go.
 I went in car the other day who had had the ?later replacement? Eco
friendly stuff put in and it was not as cold as mine.

Personally my first stop would be at a classic car garage who tops up
air-cons. If that doesn?t work try other things. To answer you question, no,
I?m no electrician, but have re-gassed and got the air con working on 6
cars.

My air con has packed up(the compressor doesn't kick in although the
fresh air fan works), a strong possibility is that the system needs
re gassing or the low pressure switch is faulty. But before i change
these two items does anyone know were the a/c circuit breaker is
located apparently it is a 40 amp thread type. Any help much
appriciated.
