It's a shame that Rover are ceasing production of the Buick-derived V8 engine, as it's a nice lump. (It's also meant that Morgan have stopped production of their +8 model which has been in continuous production since 1968.) Nevertheless, there are so many of the engines out there that it'd still be an attractive choice for putting in the D.
