[DML] Re: NEW "DREAM" DeLorean

Jan,

I have considered ABS on this car and others over the years. Way back in the 80s, when ABS was becoming popular
JC. Whitney sold a “ABS” master cylinder retrofit. Unfortunately, all it did was pulse the line pressure and did not have
any ability to sense wheel slip.

All of the ABS systems today work in relation to measure wheel slip or the difference in comparative wheel rotation.

The D does not have this capability built in and would be a major redesign.

One person, solved this limitation on another car, but install and Corvette frame and suspension. Not something
that would realistic.

However, this is a good idea.

If I was to do another electric Delorean, I would use a Nissan Leaf suspension and drive system along with the ABS.

I REALLY like the quietness of electric cars and the torque. It is the future.

Bob
