But, you would be hard pressed to find examples of *any* 1981 daily driver of any make that survived much more than a decade in a snow zone. Rust prevention technology has advanced dramatically since then. Due to fancy galvanization, advanced design and fabrication techniques, and magic sealants, modern cars just don't rust any more.
