Here is a good rule of thumb:

If you are posting on this board more than thirty posts a week, that's excessive. Many readers will think you are using the DML as your personal soap box. If you "take the floor" too often, it doesn't matter if you're right or wrong. Even if the majority of readers agree with you, many of us will grow tired of hearing from you.
