According to AAA the current average price for regular unleaded
gasoline is $3.767.  The federal minimum wave is currently $7.25 per
hour.

Using some basic math (7.25/3.767 = 1.925) I have done some
calculations and based on Stephen logic, minimum wage will be about
$19.25 an hour when gasolne reaches $10 a gallon.  I honestly don't
see what the big deal is here.

Honestly, don't you guys remember the line, "Thumb a hundred bucks and
help save the clock tower"?

Inflation will run its course as it always has.  Prices will go up,
and incomes will increase,  unless our economy completely collapses.
If our economy falls apart we will have a lot more to worry about than
putting gas in our tanks.
