Kevin,

 

Of course the membership has been polled about wants and needs.  I've also
come here and ask for input from you guys, as you may have noticed.  Why
would we ask you guys what you want, and not ask our members?!

 

There is nothing in the details of the treasury that we have to hide.  We
started off the year with a balance of $17,390 in ye olde checking account,
and we just paid out $5416 for 1000 copies of DeLorean World.  We're
planning on doing three issues this year of DeLorean World, and three issues
of Stainless News.  That will about wrap up these treasury funds, until we
get the bulk of our renewals in this fall.  Any other questions?

 

Oh.right.the bylaws.  I should be able to get those to you by Monday.

 

I agree.the people are what make the DeLorean community worth being involved
in!  Isn't it great to be involved?

John: I think you raise some excellent points here! 


You also raise excellent points about the Bylaws and treasury. I inquired
about this a couple of years ago when a similar round of questioning of the
DOA "rebirth" was mentioned. I was told that the yearly member headcount
(income) and treasury info would be made available to me ONLY after joining
the club and were not public information.
