Guess what......I too have spent many hours working on Deloreans. I have replaced doors, adjusted torsion bars, among many other things. I'm quite aware that the torque on the bar changes the shape/fit the door.   I'm NOT talking about generalities here I'm talking about comments made about a specific vendors product. I'm equally baffled by your inability to understand simple engineering and design concepts. The common sense argument is simply a copout.   You still never answered the my question.  Let me rephrase it for you again.  How do you know that Heningers torsions bars when  installed properly cause any problems with  the fit /closing of the door or over stress of the hindges?

Wow, you do seem intent on arguing this very obvious point. But to 
answer your specific questions:

Er, because I, like Dave Swingle, have spent many hours working with 
DeLoreans. Try it. Wind up a bar one more notch on a door that fits 
perfectly, then try and close it. This is simple mechanics - there's a 
torque being applied to the leading edge of the door. and the door is 
not perfectly rigid. If the moment being applied to the trailing edge by 
the strut remains unchanged, a relative twist will result.

common sense and I'm sure people reading this are equally baffled as to
