Did Tesla invite the DeLorean's to this event?
Because I've read on many occasions, the CEO of the company has publicly slammed DeLorean as a complete failure; and used DMC as a comparison of what Tesla is not going to do with their car company.

Subject: [DML] NCDMC event with Tesla
Hey group,
Just wanted to share some pics (taken by our own Mark Woudsma) of our event from this past weekend at young Tesla Motors, which happens to be in our own backyard here in the Bay Area. In many respects -- both physical (Lotus engineering) and philosophical (trying to do it better/differently than Detroit) -- DeLorean and Tesla have a lot in common, so seeing our cars together with theirs seemed like a natural fit.
It was quite a fun event, and we got a very nice turnout (16 cars total). Check out the pics at the link below, and our group looks forward to seeing you all at DCS West in Las Vegas next month!
