Summer Fun Run Updates

Signup Deadline: We need head counts to report to the sites we are attending a few days in advance.  Therefore, if you plan to attend either the Northern or Southern Routes, ***PLEASE SIGN UP NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT ON TUSEDAY AUGUST 18TH*** so that the counts can be transmitted on Wednesday. Hotel with Group Rate: For those coming from farther away that wish to spend Saturday night in Delaware & travel home fresh on Sunday, we have arranged a group rate at the Quality Inn & Suites in Wilmington, DE for a group rate of $79.99/night (+ tax).  The hotel is about 9 miles east of Auburn Heights Preserve, right off Route 202.  The hotel offers a large indoor pool & FREE continental breakfast to add to the value.  To make reservations, call 302-478-2222 & tell them you are with Delorean Mid-Atlantic Club to get the rate. The hotel is located at 4000 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803.

Routes Information: The general route information for both the Northern & Southern Routes are listed on the SFR page of the DMA site.  Note that they are listed as tentative.  This is due to the fact that we are developing a webpage to consolidate the written directions as well as provide GPS coordinates for pre-programming into your GPS unit.  The final update will be made before the SFR date & will be e-mailed to those who signup.

Goody Bags: We will be supplying goody bags with snacks & drinks to help vanquish any hunger pangs during the afternoon drive.
