This was discussed and beat to death before

Yep.we discussed that idea. PDF files can be downloaded and read on your
computer, and saved for all time, even printed if you must have a printed
version. Our problem is that we do DCS Magazine to generate money for the
show. We would have to charge people to download the PDF file, and that's a
tough thing to manage. Ideally, if we switched to that format, the magazine
would be free to subscribers, and advertisers would pay for it. But since
there are primarily three or four vendors in the DeLorean community, that
just doesn't quite cut it.
It really puts us in a bind! (no pun intended)

Subject: [DML] magazines
Group,
Just an FYI, Last month there was a lot of conversation about magazines
and how they were in the future going to be delivered. If you listen to
talk radio as I do during the day news paper companies are filling
chapter 11 like flies.
Then today I got an email on one of my many automotive parts magazines
that is now letting me down load it. They have been delivering the
media in a CD form at the shows and by paper but now I can download.
All I can say is Nice.
