Send me an email off-list. I can find you samples of the original
stuff - we've pulled it from many cars now (because it's torn). The
only exception is the very early VINs that have the "flat top"
weatherstrip. We have not ever removed it. It's missing the little flap
on the back so it doesn't seal as well and the VIN-Correct people will
put up with that(but the doors seem to work better probably because
they are not very tight).
Over the years there have been several aftermarket types used, usually
from some other car that's "kind of" close, or reproductions based on
samples. We'll soon have a repro based on the OEM design (the later
design, not the "flat" design).
