[DML] What is wrong with this car radio?

I have been working on my car and getting it ready for the road. I just 
got it insured and registered. I put in a new Sony radio but I can only 
get four FM stations. My work van puts the delorean radio to shame. 
Someone bought me a Sirius radio and that never worked. This is the 
third radio and third antenna.(retractable).  The car audio people tell 
me it should work but it does not. What is wrong with this car?
