We all know how that "next owner" thing will turn out. You can have my
DeLorean when you pry my cold dead fingers off its steering wheel.
BTW: Not all owners have $20K to drop into an automobile, DeLorean or
otherwise.
Attitudes like yours are why I shun DCS indoor display. When the
DeLorean community starts establishing thresholds of acceptability,
and prejudges cars against each other, I quickly loose interest.
Despite very limited resources, I have managed to build a car that not
only is fast, reliable, comfortable, and good looking, but which is
custom tailored to my particular vehicular tastes. It definitely rubs
the standard bearers' fur backwards, but none of their names appear on
my car title.
What I vehemently disagree with is the assertion that only owners with
$20K to spend are eligible to play the DeLorean game.
Overpriced-ness is what killed the original DMC dream. As our economy
slowly spirals again, the community should carefully consider whether
it wants to repeat that mistake.

your car acceptable as a restored delorean.
