[DML] Coolant Line Spring

Hello All, While replacing all my coolant lines today I took off the one on the right
side of the pump that connects to the hard line under the resevoir tank and noticed
that there was a spring inside of it. Is this a problem area for collapsing or something?
I've heard of it in the fuel line but not the coolant lines at all. I just wonder if I shouldn't
install it in the new line or not.
