Because older delay units worked on the amount of current to heat up a wire
inside to cut off the lights just like the blinky bulb for x-mas lights.
Sense LEDs pull 1/100th of the current it takes that little wire 1-2 hours
to heat up to the cut off point instead of the 30-45 seconds it normally
stays on.
