Marvin,

It might be helpful to know what part of the country you're in, if someone's going to suggest a shop for you.

My suggestion is going to be to get it to a Delorean shop.  Nobody but nobody is going to know this design and material or have the flapper tool with the right grain, etc. to do the job as well as one of the shops that specialize in Delorean repair.  So. Cal would be Don and Danny's place in Garden Grove.  Houston, TX - Kirkland, WA and others, easily located.
