Would it not be simpler in the mean time, to do a "blind test" say, 5 or
7 quick spirited drives over the same route, same driver, and randomly (
decided on the toss of a coin) have a trusted third party either fit or
remove the bar. Ask the driver then to identify the times when the car
had the bar and the times when it didn't. This test should give a good
indicator of whether a placebo effect is in action or not. If he gets it
correct every time, I for one will turn to and buy one immediately for
my new project.
This would be a simple, cheap, and probably quite fun test.... just a
suggestion :-)
