[DML] Interior courtesies delay unit interaction with LED bulbs

Hi guys,
I installed some LED bulbs in my car since I like the whiteness of the
light from them.
With the LED bulbs my courtesies delay unit stopped working, leaving
the interior lights on indefinitely. So I put the delay module on my
bench and found that my delay unit needs about 250mA of current draw
to reliably turn off after the delay time.
I could reverse-engineer the module and answer this for myself, but
I'm feeling lazy today and through I'd just ask first. Does the delay
unit require a minimum current draw to function correctly (and
therefore is not compatible with LED bulbs in the interior dome
lights) or is my module behaving eratically and needing replacement?
Knut
