Mystery solved - This car has recently surfaced, with the new owners in the
midst of a complete rebuild. I've passed on your information to them
publicly through DMC Talk, where they are members, and you can see the current
progress of their rebuild project with this link

They've already put a lot of work into the project, and hopefully any murky
legal/title/financial issues are all down to the previous owner who'd let the
car sit out to get cited and towed...

Dear all,
A small consortium in the UK are looking for a DeLorean that through
a series of events has gone missing!
The title of this vehicle was transferred to its new owner in the UK
but the car was awaiting collection, it is believed that due to the
delay in collecting this vehicle the owner was asked to remove if
from the street as it was in a state of disrepair.
Shortly after this 2 young chaps took the car away on a trailer and
it has never been seen since.
We have been forwarded photos (from the previous owner) of the
DeLorean being removed which may give us some additional leads.
>>>>Car Details<<<<
--The DeLorean was based in Davie, Florida
--The VIN ends 07067
--In late 2007 the car was in a state of disrepair possibly with a
broken windscreen
--There was a selection of spare DeLorean parts inside which were
destined to be shipped to England with the car.
This is all a bit of a bizarre story but we would dearly like to know
what happened to this car.
Has it been parted out or destroyed?? Is it on the road? Does someone
on this list know of its whereabouts?
Please feel free to contact me privately off list if you have any
information which you think may help, you will remain anonymous.
