A simple rule to tell which part of the country the car rusted 
from..in the Northern states they rust from the ground up..in the 
southern states they rust from the Roof down..meaning that if you 
look at say a Florida rusted car you will find that ALL the lower 
sections(Q-panels/frames/wheelwells,floors,trunk floor etc are 
perfect, in the Northern cars these will rust out, but the roof or 
cowl/hood/trunk lid etc maybe totally rusted on the Southern cars.And 
of course the southern cars will take a bigger hit on the interior.
(in a shorter period of time).
