The parts of the seats you sit on were/are Leather,the rest of the 
seat is vinyl ,the Steering wheel,the door pulls and the boot on the 
five speed that is the "whole" leather interior. Everything else is 
either vinyl or plastic or pressed/formed cardboard,the console is 
cardboard and vinyl,the headliners on the early cars were cardboard 
and cloth type fabric,later ones came with plastic or fiberglass,the 
door panels are vinyl and plastic.Actually they could have used all 
leather,since the car was selling almost TWICE the price of a 
corvette ($17,500)WITH a FULL leather interior.(delorean$32,500)or at 
least that was the sticker on my very first in person viewing of a 
delorean
