Replace ALL fluids and filters. Wipe out the fuel tank and inspect
the internal parts. Replace any deteriorated or missing parts. If
the tires are over 7 years old replace them. Replace the wiper
blades. Replace the trailing arm bolts. If the recalls were not done
then do them. Remove the locking module and the fan fail relay.
There is a metal washer inside the brake level indicator with a
small hole that sits in the bottom of the red housing. Keeps it from
reacting too quickly. Replace the battery. Plan on a tune-up and a
Master Water Pump Kit replacing EVERY hose and seal, belts, idler
bearings, probably the radiator, and the header bottle. If you have
hot-start problems the accumulator is dead and will have to be
replaced. You are just getting started!
