John,
Apparently you forgot, but just over 2 years ago I installed one of your
units and due to a wiring fault it melted, filled the car with smoke,
and destroyed the group loop wire for all of the relays in my relay
compartment. We had quite a long phone conversation about it. As you
can imagine, it was aggravating, but you did send me a new wire and a
new unit and it has been performing fine to this day. For a little
while I hosted some pictures of the damage on my little site, but I
opted to remove them as I later thought it unfairly represented your
product. At least I hope it did. You've helped me out on numerous
occasions with my car and have always supplied good advice when I've
needed it, so I didn't want something like this to tarnish our
relationship. Just a note to everyone else, as far as I know what
happened to me was an isolated occurrence and in no way represents what
will happen to your car if you install the Fan Fail 2x2.
Thanks,
Todd Nelson,
