Many of you know my affiliation with Rolls-Royce. On Sunday August
26, for the first time both groups are invited to get together for a
joint event.
We have been invited to tour the Dauer Classic Car Museum in Sunrise,
Florida. This is a private museum that is not open to the public. It
is shown by invitation only. Dr. Dauers collection is something not
to be missed. Consisting mostly of American 50's and 60's classics
the collections oldest car is a 1930 Cadillac V-16 and the newest are
recent Aston Martin's and Bentley's. I have seen this museum several
times and every time is different. Seeing this display will leave a
lasting impression.
You do not have to be a DOA member to attend. The day will consist of
the Museum tour and a
brunch. You will see some spectacular cars, meet more auto
enthusiasts and have a great time.
We are quickly approaching the deadline for this exciting event. So
far we have a total of 26 cars and 51 people registered. The museum
has asked that we don't exceed 60 people so we have a few spots left.
If you are interested in attending or have any questions about this
or our future events, please contact me. This event is open to all
DeLorean owners. We have a lot of people attending who have not
participated in a DeLorean event in years. There will be a lot of new
faces to meet. By the end of this week, we will have to close RSVP's
to please do it quickly if you plan on joining us. If you are having
trouble downloading the RSVP form (which is necessary to get into the
museum) please contact me directly. We look forward to a great
DeLorean turnout and an exciting day.
