The interior is black, it just looks grey in those pics because of the camera flash.  The tint is quite dark, (it's sunny and bright in FL) but not too bad.  Let's put it this way... you can't really see IN the car from the outside, but it's like having sunglasses on when you are inside the car...

If there is a tint shop near you, go and ask them what 5% looks like.  That's really the only way to see it and know what it's like.
