Start by sending him yours for cleaning and testing, the fee for that
gets applied to any new injectors you then choose to buy afterwards - so
you have nothing to lose.

One big reason- the cost of the injectors from the vendors. I don't
know why the price jumped from something like $44 per injector to
$84 within a year or so. If there are cross referenced Volvo
injectors that are identical or cloe enough not to affect engine
performance (if someone in this group verifies this), they are
cheaper ($40 to $60 range for the Volvo models)---
