Hi Harold,
The thing is, my casing is only slightly damp and there is maybe a quarter-sized puddle after sitting overnight. I could probably drive forever like this but it's the principle of the thing! Having a leaky car, no matter how old, is a little embarrassing! I am sure I will get it fixed, I got some good suggestions! I will give it a shot in a couple weeks I think.

I have replaced dozens of seals with no problem but, I recently did a
similar routine to MY differential (an auto) and now it leaks all the
time.
