I don't car care for the Purflux anyway. Supplying Purflux is the service
that Houston should be doing since they started telling everyone that
Purflux were the best and Bosch was not in out cars even though they don't
have as I understand an anti-drainback valve.
Naturally I can supply any filter, even the Volvo unless your getting them
at a mechanics discount. I'm just trying to supply what ever the customers
want to a reason.

I can't remember if I asked this question but.....I've used the standard
Volvo Filter for years with no problem hitting the sensor. Is everyone
saying it actually won't fit due to the oil pressure sensor or that it
may simply touch it while screwing the oil filter on?
I have at least a 2mm gap between the Volvo filter and the sensor. It
doesn't "rub" at all while putting one in or taking one off.
What's the big deal if the filter briefly touches the sensor? As long
as it fits, eh?
I get my Volvo filters from a local Volvo place and have never had an
issue with not fitting. Are there different size oil pressure sensors?
I'd use the Purflux as well, if they were available and less $$ than the
Volvo filter. If John can buy a crapload of them and get a good price
maybe a "pre-order" situation would work? What do you think John?
