John,

We have had Stainless manifold  heat stoves for a number of years.

Just a question about your version, how are you providing spacing  
between the top of the manifold and the inside of the heat stove?   
The original stove had dimples in the steel to create the gap between  
the manifold and the heat stove.  We decided to use brass spacers.   
Without a gap between the top of the manifold and the heat stove, you  
limit air flow around the manifold and into the engine.
