I too have the Hella replacement and use H4 bulbs for the outboard lights
and H1 for the inboard. They are price but in my opinion well worth the
price. I had to replace them after bringing the car to EU, but I'm glad I
did. The difference is amazing! But, for me that's still not enough ;) I'm
going with HID xenon. Already converted my motorcycle (passes all
inspections) and now I'm working on a set for the D.
BTW, the inboard lights are H4651, outboard H4656
