[DML] clutch slave cylinder.

Well, I'm hoping to finish this very simple job soon.
Replaced the clutch master cylinder. about 10 mins. main clutch
line, about 20 min. front hardline about 10 min.. So why is this
darn job taking so long. I put the new slave cylinder in and
attached the hardline. (It compresses differently than the
original) I tightened it down, and it acts like it's not
compressing inside. When I put pressure on the clutch after
bleeding, it leaks out around the hardline connection at the slave
cylinder. The compression not or bolt or whatever it is, pretty
much tightened all the way in, such that it can NOT be tightened
anymore. Anybody had any problems like this? Anybody have any
ideas. It's not stripped because I took it completely out and
tested it.. no cross threads, and threads by hand. It almost acts
like it's not long enough to fully compress the end of the hardline.
These are brass fittings I believe and should all compress if
they're cut right. The thing is, the new hardline is different than
the old one as it only as one nut, and the old one had a second nut
and compressed differently.
Thanks
Dale Funk
