[DML] Interesting Repair List

To all the newbies and those wanting a car, I decided to add up all my repair and cosmetic receipts to see what I have spent on the car since I took ownership from the original owner in 1998.  I am fortunate that I got this car for the price I did and from an owner who kept all his repair receipt.  Since I am as picky as it's first owner I have a binder with every receipt for everything I have bought for the car.  It's nice to have such a documented history on a car. 
   
  I purchased the car in 1998 for $14,500.  Since June 1998 I have spent $15,384.07 for a grand total of $29,884.07......My wife was a bit stunned that I have spent more on repairs, cosmetics and upgrades than I paid for the car itself!  Oh well....it's been fun.
   
  So for all of you out there wanting a car and wondering what it takes to maintain a Delorean, here is one story.  While I may be a bit anal about stuff on my car I'm sure there are folks out there who have spent more than this on keeing the dream alive!
