Warren and Jack,
  Thanks for the replies.  I hope this encourages others to go through all their fuses and relays, and just make sure things are clean and continue to work properly.  
   
  For those that like to keep some tools and parts with them, I would suggest keeping a spare inline fuse holder and some fuses, along with a pair of wire cutters and items to crimp a line.
