Nathan,
You?ll probably get a half dozen responses suggesting that your L/F caliper
is binding, or the fluid line is blocked, and conventional wisdom would
surely point to that. Resist the temptation for the most expedient fix and
invest the time, and money, necessary to check and overhaul the complete
brake system as needed. This includes inspecting the front AND rear
calipers, pads, rotors, fluid lines, and more. Keep in mind that if the
brake fluid is very dirty and you flush the system your BRAKE MASTER
CYLINDER WILL PROBABLY FAIL! If this is beyond your mechanical abilities
please find someone more qualified to complete the repairs for you. Better
safe than sorry when it comes to brakes and steering.
