[DML] Brakes broke..

I am in the process of rebuilding all of the brake
components in 6068.. Everything is back together, yet
the pedal is soft. I tried everything, yes I bench
bled the master cylinder!
When I took mine apart, it looked to be in good shape.
No rust, and it was working. Just wanted to put new
seals in it. I replaced them the same way the old
ones came out, which was the taper on all 4 was facing
the back of the MC (toward the pedal). However, when
I could not get it to work properly I took a second MC
(borrowed old part) apart and saw that the back seal
on the front piston was backward from the other three.
I flipped mine around to match the "model" but it
still did not work.
The wheels stop when I hit the pedal (spinning them
with the car on jacks) as soon at I touch the pedal,
but the pedal goes almost all the way to the floor.
Pumping helps a bit, but not much.
Maybe this is why none of the DMC vendors sell a
master cylinder rebuild kit?
So, I think a new MC is in my future. I wanted to get
some opinions from people who have swapped the stock
MC with it's 63/37 setup versus the SAAB replacement
which is 50/50.
Anyone out there running the 50/50 think it is better?
worse? or no noticeable difference?
Thanks
