Actually, the rear edge (near the windshield)is not
even touching the stops, but it is at about the right
height.  It's the front edge, near the fascia that's
sitting too high.  I pulled up the picture of the hing
on DMCH's website and see that the hinges are slotted
so maybe I do just need to adjust the hinges down. 
(We'll see.)
