As some others have mentioned, Johnny Sawyer of AZ-D does build Flux
Capacitor replicas, and they are GOOD replicas. His hobby is building
movie prop replicas, and he takes great care in accuracy of
appearance, correct materials, function and workmanship. I don't think
you're going to find any better. You can contact him through AZ-D.
