Another option would be to just replace your taillights. I'm thinking
about going this route with my D when I get as far as worrying about
cosmetic things like that. I notice DMCH has a full lighting kit that
has all four side markers, both tail light lenses, the license plate
lights, all four head lights and all the underlying gaskets for
everything for $340 or so. May be more than some want to spend, but I
figure since i'm doing a ground up resto on my D, I might as well make
everything perfect, as this will likly be the only major work I do to
the car for as long as I own it, aside from unforseeable future events
that could happen. Basicly i'm choosing to put all my cash in up front. :D
