As you've probably discovered by now, as soon as you slam the door or
move the car the window is gonna open - and fast. The motor mechanism
you removed used to hold it up. Time for some duct tape or baling
wire.
You should probably just replace the motor with the upgraded new one,
although if you are careful and mechanically inclined the old ones
are somewhat repairable (hi Mark V!) unless you've stripped the gear
or the plastic elbow has disintegrated.
