Yes it has..... but here's a quick fact list

Venturi 400GT - most powerful car using a UN1 - 600bhp in LeMans spec
Lutus Esprit V8 - next most powerful.

Both have strengthened internals which as fas as I know means they're 
disassebled and the gears and shafts are hardened.
