I will probably get a lot of negative reaction to this post, but I
bought $10 speakers at Walmart that were flush and fit in
perfectly. I don't recall the brand or the wattage, but as Dave
point out, anything is an improvement. My originals were rotted to
the point that the paper was crumbling out like dust. The new
speakers sound fine for me. For the rears I found one set of
Pioneer speakers at Best Buy that fit (4 x 10) for $89.
