[DML] Was it all a dream? Looking for DML archives from 1997

Got to talking today about the DMC prototype cars, and
it reminded me of a story I read on the DML back in 97
(I think).

Best I can remember, someone in Tennessee was told
about a "Sad DeLorean" in someones yard.  The car was
inspected, and based on the description provided to
the DML it sounded like it may have been a pilot car.

Searching the DML archives, all I can find are
messages of me asking for updates on the story!  

Does anyone else remember this??  Or better yet, have
complete archives from 1997?  (The ones on the web
seem incomplete).

I recall being surprised back then that the thread was
short lived, because I was excited to think that one
of the pilot cars were found.

Or was this whole story my imagination, and I kept
asking about it and making a fool of myself? (no wise
cracks, please).
