Derek, 

It sounds like a bad idle ICU module. First make sure the idle regulator
valve is free and test continuity between the blk/ylw and blk/slate wires on
the ICU wire connector (The one towards the Pass. side). If it's an open
ciruit then the thermal switch or wire connection is at fault. If the
regulator, switch and wiring check out you're back to a bad ICU.

Right now my car, when started, idles at about 1800 and slowly creeps
upwards of 2000. 
Once the car is warmed up by driving for a few minutes, the idle sits steady
at 2500. Don't 
know if it matters, but the car is a 5 speed. Does anybody have any idea
what could be 
causing this? Thanks!
