The fuel tank should just be a bit over 13 gallons capacity. 13.2
gallons or close to that. Is your fuel sender the original or is it
a replacement?
If a replacement, what vendor, and how old is it?
Sounds like the fuel sender you currently are using is close to 3
gallons in error.
