This is a very good point to make. The original DeLorean radiator is a
nice piece of work - very efficient, very tiny passages, lots of tiny
fins. Put one next to the common aftermarket part and you'll see what I
mean. My bet is that the OEM Delorean radiator has about the same
capacity as the aftermarket three-core unit that is widely sold.
The downside is that, after 25 years of dubious maintenance and lack of
flushes, it's probably plugged somewhat. If it's not leaking yet it
will be, just consider this normal maintenance.
