I had the same problem. I even went so far as to rebuild the CV joints when I put it all back together still the same scratching sound. YOUR REAR TIRE IS NOT SEATED FIRMLY ON MOUNTING STUDS. Take rear wheels off and and just spin wheel assembly by hand, you will hear the sound. So all you have to do is just re-torque rear wheels to specs. and sound will be gone.
