Get yourself a decent pager alarm. I've installed one and didn't even
bother hooking up a siren or connecting it to the horns. With an LCD
pager, you'll know when your cars being disturbed, not the people
trying to destroy your car so-you can give them a good surprise.
Thankfully, I've never had a problem (yet?)-even when I left my car
sitting in a community college parking lot for hours with the spare
key left in the passenger door (!!). Like all the rest of us here,
I'll never comprehend why people do this. Wish you the best of luck
fixing everything, and definitly increase the security of the car.
