Not sure if this may help anyone else, but I read in the manual that
the brass air adjustment screw should be fully seated, since the
DeLorean doesn't use this-uses the electric idle system. Sure enough
when I checked-all my brass screws were damn near wide open letting
additional air right in-closing the adj screw gave me a much lower
idle and better performance. -----Dani B. #5003
