Sorry to hear about the accident... Many years ago, I could not avoid one of those HUGE tire shreds from a semi, and I hit is straight on in my VW Corrado. It tore up the air spoiler and bent part of the metal framing under the engine and other misc damage... the insurance company (Liberty Mutual) covered it all (after deductible). Good luck.
